According to statistics, 2021  saw almost 487 million music streaming subscribers. But does this mean the vinyl record trend is dead? Turns out, no. Despite the growth of streaming platforms, this traditional music medium has also seen a rise. The vinyl is back . According to MRC’s 2021 Year-End Music Report, LP sales increased by more than 50   percent in 2021. Here’s why vinyl records are gaining popularity once again: They’re Tangible (and Nostalgic) Vinyl records are a nostalgic, tangible way to experience music. Though they’re not as easy to use as a streaming service, they come with a fascination that drives millennial and Gen Z consumers who are buying vinyl.
